NEW WORLD aeternum (PC,xbox,ps5)
New World: Aeternum is the updated and enhanced version of the game released for PC, now also on consoles. I worked on gameplay, in particular the new seasonal content.
I shipped it in 2024 and 3 Seasonal updates after that.

NEW WORLD (PC)
The original version of the game for PC. When it shipped in 2021 it was the #1 most played game on steam!
I did a few different things, all gameplay related: housing, the scripting system, "the world" (i.e. anything not player related), etc.
Shipped 2021 and later shipped 7 Seasonal updates.
I helped New World for 6 months building core gameplay systems in 2018 while on a loan, then returned in 2020 as a permanent gameplay engineer.

CRUCIBLE (PC)
Amazon Game Studios entry in the third person shooter genre, originally a MOBA-like but when it shipped it had 2 additional modes.
I was an SDET for my initial time on the team, building the test automation framework, then moved to gameplay and got to build cool features like the tutorial.
Shipped in May 2020 and sunset in October 2020.

Amazon Lumberyard
I was an SDET during the early years of lumberyard (2017-2018) shipping several releases (still considered beta at the time).
I built internal tools for testing and an automation framework for deployment and testing, the code has changed so much since becoming O3DE, but the LyTestTools framework seems to be a descendant of my code! (But I can't claim I wrote it, its very very very different now).

Intel Corporation
At Intel corporation I worked as a software engineer specialized in tools and automation (essentially SDET work without the title) for the Server Firmware teams. I built tools and an automation framework for testing firmware releases.
Later I moved to a DevOps team where I helped implement scaled agile across an organization that tested software and hardware. I also built tools to support the release management process.

Other stuff
I've been developing software professionally for close to 20 years now, with my earlier projects being custom web systems as a freelancer for a design company. I've built CMS and ERP platforms, integrated airplane ticketing systems and even built a fully featured platform to track vehicles in real-time using GPS (Unfortunately that one never saw the light).
But I've been coding longer than that, none of that code survives, but I built custom data parsers for traffic engineering, web sites, games and tried my hand at GBA programming.
However, if you want to see my oldest published project go to the <video games> section or browse the rest of the site for smaller personal projects.
